This is the kind of place that even if you're not looking for, it grabs your attention. It is impossible not to notice how many people stops here for a sausage; that's why I decided to give it a try and oh God, it worth it. I tried the double smoked beef and pork sausage with onion, cabbage and the best sweet relish ever. Another plus is, you can get German beers in their patio while you enjoy great views of Grandville Island and Downtown Vancouver.

Fantastic addition to Granville Island and solid little patio gem. Best to go on week night evenings as it isn't too busy. Perogies were delicious, mulled wine was perfectly spiced and warm. Love the festive decor and ambiance. Servers were all super friendly and excellent service. Would visit again!!
Service was totally awesome. Friendly, relaxed and prompt. They have a small patio where you can sit which is amazing considering that inside Granville market they removed all tables. Food was also super good and beer delicious. That last star is because it was cold and although they have a heater it had no gas... so it was useless and we were cold.
Overall, it was a very great experience. Staff were also very friendly, and patient in explaining the food items (it was my first time trying German cuisine) and gave great recommendations on best sellers. They're located inside Granville Island Public Market. Currently there is free parking as an initiative to support local businesses during COVID-19. There's also a very cozy social distanced heated patio outside where you can enjoy the food. Erdinger Weissbeir (5.3%) - A light and refreshing German Wheat beer. Fried Sauerkraut Balls with Cream Cheese: super delicious and you must eat it fresh. Deep fried perfectly, and it's not greasy. The sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) is imported from Germany, and balances the creaminess of the balls. Salted Pretzel: A bit too salty for me personally, as they use a generous amount of coarse salt, but that is just how salted pretzel's are made. This is also a best seller though (I saw a lot of people order this while I was waiting for my order), and the texture was great. The outside was chewy, and the inside was very soft. Currywurst with French Fries: The curry ketchup flavour was delicious. Pork sausage was good too, not too salty. Perogi Plate with Polish Sausage: Polish sausage was flavourful. The perogi's were bite-sized and deep fried. Generous portion. Schnitzel Sandwich: deep friend pork cutlet on a kaiser bun and German mustard. Definitely eat this right away, its best served hot. Very filling as well. Everything is basically paired with something slightly on the sour side (eg. Mustard, sauerkraut etc), which I think is a great combination, so it doesn’t get to “meaty”. It’s a refreshing palate cleanser.
It’s a very nice and warm place with polite waitresses. The food is very good.
