Our company was founded by a veteran group of game developers from the Vancouver scene who were tired of taking marching orders. After some meetings and legwork at the end of 2011, we officially formed Little Hero Games in January 2012. We are passionate about creating awesome games for the iOS and Android platforms. We want to innovate and change the mobile game scene by leading the pack in design and ingenuity. We are firm believers that you can produce “digital crack” without having to regurgitate the same old designs with a shiny new wrapper. Our team is formed up by an eclectic group of geeks, misfits and otakus. We embrace our unique culture with a bear hug and we believe it is possible to make amazing games and have fun doing it. For us, the journey is just as important as the destination. To that end, our company has a workplace vibe that encourages all team members to be “themselves” without having to worry about corporate perceptions or office politics. When creativity and fetishes are allowed to run rampant, scary good things are hatched… We’re fully aware of the challenges and risks involved in game development. It’s a ridiculously competitive battlefield out there in the mobile games marketplace, but we’re hungry and we’re talented. Keep an eye out for us as we are planning to rise through the ranks and join the elite group of small indie developers who are keeping it real and making killer games.
