McCleery is a great course and has a fantastic range and practice facilities. During covid they practice social distancing and are decently organized when it comes to letting people in to the pro shop and range. Although sometimes there are plenty of empty mats at the range, sometimes the staff can't see and people need to wait longer than they need to. The course is awesome and well kept.

Great public course that gets less love than it should. The first 6 or so holes are kind of wonky but once you hit the back nine the course blossoms into something beautiful. Pro tip hit from the blues on the par 3 13 even if you're hitting whites, the hole turns into something magical at the top of the steps and if you hit the green you're guaranteed to have your balls tingling!

Paid this course a visit twice while I was in Vancouver during the summer. This is a public course which is very well take care of. The only problem with this course is the mosquitos. They will definitely eat you alive during the summer months, so bring repellent. The greens were great and always in god shape. For a public course , you can’t ask for much more. Hit them long and straight! The staff very super friendly and helpful!
