Omakase is what our group did. Great service. My only complaint is being served a platter instead of a few pieces at a time. The platter was fantastic regardless. Definite must try

Dissimilar to most reviews on here, we did not have the omakase. Instead we opted for the Bluefin Tuna Tasting and Nigiri Sushi Platter with a side of Unagi Donburi. Even given the price point, the food highly exceeded my expectations. My only gripe was the donburi - not that it was bad, but everything else was just so so so much more worthwhile and better!

Awesome service and we had Chef Sada making the chef selections of sashimi right in front of us. We had an amazing time. The price is a bit expensive but it’s all worth it.

I walked through Doors of Octopus garden and I felt like I was transported to japan. The first time I came in I stopped by for tea and dessert. I saw the food and it looked so good. I looked at the price and it was a little high but it was fine quality. The service and atmosphere was impeccable. One of my best friends moved back to Vancouver after living abroad and I knew it would be a great place to come to and remind her of Vancouver's great food scene. Japanese cuisine is one of our favourites. It was sort of like love at first sight. I just knew octopus garden was for me. The only thing that sucks is they are busy so if you want a seat call to reserve. Also price isn’t cheap.

The omekase is a wonderful spread of fresh seafood. We come back annually for this seafood feast.
