We had an absolutely amazing stay! The staff was beyond helpful and had so many fabulous suggestions for us on places to visit or eat. Chilled champagne, chocolates, and music playing softly greeted us when we got to our room. Highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast, a great spot for people watching in the morning

I booked this stay with my Chase Sapphire Reserve so I got a double upgrade, 100 dining credit, and breakfast for free. The double upgrade was kind of questionable. The “deluxe” room was not that special. It could have been at a nice Holiday Inn. They serviced my room at 7 pm which was weird but nice. When I called for room service, I was told it would take 25 min but it took an hour. That’s besides the point though. The biggest part is the front desk staff rocks!! There is a very nice woman from Australia (I don’t know her name) and John (another very nice staff member). They both went above and beyond. I’ll be back just for them.

My stay here was great! Really good service, I was greeted with sparkling wine upon arrival. The lobby is small and has an attached lounge which was a cool hangout spot at night. There is a good restaurant attached to the hotel where I had a great breakfast. The room was awesome! I loved the decor and it was a large room with a big comfy bed. The bathroom was amazing and had a large soak tub as well as a stand up shower. The bathroom also has a window which can be covered to see into the room. My company hosted an event that which ran smoothly and the space was great. Overall very happy with my stay here.

The first time I came here with my boyfriend was mid June and the staff were super accommodating even when our vehicle drained of battery charge from forgetting to unplug our cooler in the trunk when passing keys to the valet folks. Our most recent visit a few days ago was more pleasant; the staff remembered us and upgraded our suite. The two of us slept like babies and relaxed in our room for as much as we can. Thank you for having us; I look forward visiting again whenever a break from Vancouver Island is needed.

The Opus is my favourite hotel in Vancouver! Yes they have huge comfy beds, colourful rooms and great facilities but it’s their customer service that makes it an amazing hotel. We stayed twice during a trip in July last year after we got engaged and to celebrate my 30th birthday and they went above and beyond for us each time. My fiancé has booked for us to spend a few nights there in October and I am beyond excited. We are getting eloped in Vancouver next year and hope to stay at the Opus then as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Opus. From the warm welcome and complimentary beverage, to the room amenities, location, and complimentary bikes, it really added to our stay. Yaletown and its myriad restaurants, the seawall and ferries around False Creek are just footsteps away. Borrow a bike and ride to Stanley Park, or find a nice patio to watch the world go by. A slight downside was the bathroom was the only source of light for the room, although we weren’t really spending too much time in our room during the day.

It’s a nice hotel, but the quality of staff is very mixed. From very supportive to forgetting you. The facilities itself are in good shape, but no soundproof windows (which is bad downtown) and sports is very small (considering the price segment). Included breakfast is high quality, but very limited variety and often things were empty (only refilled after telling the staff). For the price segment it’s in, i can’t rate it higher.

Very solid value for the price and terrific location. Plus the most incredible hotel staff I’ve experienced in a while, willing to bend over backwards for the smallest thing. The purple paint in my room was a tiny bit much for me but that’s the only thing I could find to say wasn’t a perfect 5 stars for the category and price. Particularly loved: full size refillable MalinGoetz bath products instead of tiny single use ones, glass carafe in the room instead of plastic water bottles and a espresso coffee maker, wireless pad for cell phone charging, amazing raspberry scones at breakfast (so fluffy, light & flavorful), and such a comfortable bed in my room.
