My husband had a liver transplant Dec.1st 2018 there in Portland. We stayed at the fisher house for 3 months during our stay staff was professional ,and made sure rooms were sanitized kitchens very tidy and clean, food well stocked! Thank you all, there at the fisher house for everything you do for the veterans that stay there, it’s so appreciated! keep up the great work .

Because, for Veterans and being located here in Vancouver, Washington they have many of the medical clinics that you would otherwise have to go to Portland, Oregon for your medical care. I think they're very good as far as the care they give you.

On August 28 I checked into the Fisher house in vancouver Washington. I. Was there for 12 days, the whole time I was treated The best way anyone could be treated, while my husband was at ohsu for pancreatic surgery. There were alot of ups and downs with him. To be able to go to the fisher house after a long day at The hospital was a God send, the beautiful house, friendly staff were right there to help in any way they could, being I could not drive I depended on the shuttle to get back and forth to the hospital. The shuttle didnt run on weekends so they called uber for me. The freezers and fridges were loaded with food for all. Also the beautiful kitchen was so clean and always fresh fruit,muffins and baskets of packaged snacks. The Keurig coffe was out of the world,(my favorite was Tullys Hawaiian blend). All in all thank you vets and the volunteers , you are the best!! May I also say all of this did not cost me a dime!!
