Whether big or small, celebrating a life with a simple gathering at a beach or a full traditional funeral at a church, there is no right or wrong way of having this special event. Our staff has over 30 years combined funeral experience in different areas of the funeral industry; from working in funeral homes to cemeteries, our staff is well-rounded to assist each family appropriately. Serving different cultures and religions has given us an advantage, allowing us to guide you to make the best decision for you and your loved ones. We are very fortunate to have English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking staff to help assist our families. In 2017, Herb and Michelle decided to create Raincoast Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd. to help those who required services with quality but at a cost that would not cause a hardship. This organic partnership came to be as both Herb and Michelle had built a working trust in past years. The rest is history!

My interaction with the funeral services at Rain coast was memorable. It was first time I had ever seen or was offered the option of a decorated casket - on the inside of the casket. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. The staff dressed my Aunt in her desired clothing and created a garden inside the casket with silk flowers around her and an arbor above her head. She truly looked so beautiful; my only regret is that I didn’t take a picture of it. The staff walked me through the entire process of what was to be expected throughout the course of the funeral and was right by my side – literally. Rain coast services were available 24 hours a day, got back to me immediately and never kept me waiting. The staff gave me all the paperwork that I needed upfront so that the progression of her end of life went as smoothly as could be. There were a lot of choices to choose from for caskets, floral arrangements and additional services. Lastly, Rain coast had knowledgeable staff with a calm, patient and peaceful environment. I could not have fulfilled my Aunt’s wishes without the confidence that Rain coast provided me with. Thank you so much for all of your help, you have made a difficult time memorable with all the consideration and compassion that was extended to me.
