Having your motorcycle damaged in an accident is terrible in every way, but at least the experience I've had with Rising Sun has been very positive! Samson (and everyone I've spoken to there, really) has been exceptionally friendly and helpful. Aside from carrying out the repairs themselves, they also patiently provided instructions on how to deal with insurance, provided tips on where to source parts, and even helped with transport of the bike so I wouldn't have to drive it in winter weather. If only there were more bike shops like this. Fingers crossed I don't have to deal with an issue like this again, but if I do, I will certainly be heading back here.

UPDATED September 28: Just had the bike in for my major 20k service (also did a summer tune up here before a major road trip). They did a great job, including spotting a reed valve on its way to self-destructing. Really impressed by the continual updates and the efforts to check in and confirm everything as they proceeded. Bike was shiny new when picked up, and rides awesome (may be half in my head of course, but that’s part of what we’re paying for, isn’t it?). I’ll see them again in another 5k for sure. ——- The guys helped me out on zero notice on a Monday morning(!) after I punchered my overly work tire with a screw. A few hours later (same day) I left with shiny new rubber, a thorough inspection and a new favorite shop. Had my bike at the dealer recently for its 10k service, and I'm not actually sure they did anything but move it 20 ft in the lot when I wasn't looking. Got more feedback from the RS guys getting new tires. Really glad to find some guys who really seem to be into bikes!

This is the only place in town I will ever take my motorcycles. Samson is the man! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel they have more than earned my trust, respect and money. Best mechanics around! Thanks for all you do guys

Super helpful and great guys! Only needed a small part (speedo cable), and they took out all their spare inventory and honestly spent more time helping me out than they needed. I would have been happy just digging through the cables myself, but the one dude insisted on helping me out, and gave me a ridiculously good price for it. Definitely recommend!

Brought my Triumph Rocket 3 to Rising Sun for a major service, Valves, Cam Chain, Brakes, rear tire etc - the works. Liked the clear, no bs communication. Shop asks for a reasonable penny and I got a good job done - no regrets - good garage.

In the past I've had a couple of not very good experiences when I brought my bike to the dealer I purchased it from for mechanical work. Deciding that I couldn't do that again, I found RSM though searching online. I had a feeling that I'd found a great option after I started to read the reviews. Honestly, I feel Samson and his team ARE the only answer if you live in the Lower Mainland for bike service / etc. I'm so impressed with their customer service and beyond happy with the work they did on my bike. My ride has never felt as good as it has now since they had a chance to tune it!

They were able to quickly help me out with an emergency last-minute brake light issue, and then said don't worry about the charge! Saved my butt when I really needed it. Definitely going back for future mechanical needs!
