This is a great concept! Grab freshly made rolls and sashimi when you're in a hurry or get it made fresh to order. You can even buy the ingredients and make your own sushi at home. Many international snacks and drinks that are hard to find are located here as well. The overall freshness and quality is tough to beat, definitely my favorite sushi place.

If you are looking for fresh, authentic and simply delicious sushi in Vancouver you need to try Sashimiya. We love it so much that we drive to Vancouver from Coquitlam just to get take out. We are always pleased with the regular menu items that we order ahead but we also check the fridge to see what is fresh that day and there is always something tasty there to take home too. The owners/staff are always friendly and we look forward to seeing them again very soon!
Amazing, authentic shop! I got the premium sushi platter - it was SO fresh and delicious. The Uni was to die for. On top of that, the service was incredibly warm and friendly. This is a small business you definitely want to support!!
Fresh, good quality sushi. Ordered through a food delivery app a although the selections were a bit limited, everything we ordered was fresh - especially the sashimi.
Get some Japanese snacks, ingredients and foods to stock up, or dive into super fresh authentic sushi and sashimi cut by one of Vancouver's best, owner/ chef Taka-san.

I love this place! Quality is always fresh. Some of the big reason why I love this place is that the flavours all go well together, nothing is mushy (unlike some other places). I wish they kept a little longer hours, as sometimes it hard to get to, and offered a little more options - but that keeps their dishes special I suppose. Friendly staff, call ahead and place your order.
Super authentic Japanese sushi, from a sushi chef trained in Japan. Even overheard one of the chefs speaking with a customer in Japanese once. It wouldn't be exaggerating to say this place has the best sushi in Vancouver. I envy anyone who has a job near this place, since they can just pop in and grab one of their to-go trays of salmon aburi rolls on lunch break. Don't overlook what's stocked on the shelves, though--while small, their selection of packaged goods, like bonito flakes, furikake, and rice crackers--are also truly authentic Japanese. I haven't had such good savoury senbei in years--and even the instant noodles are top notch.
