Can't say enough good things about this place. Everything from the food, decor and service is top notch. Tried the samosas and the chicken and it felt like my taste buds had opened up. Good food bursting with flavor. Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the food on the menu.

It is really hard to find good Indian food in Vancouver aside from your typical heavy butter chicken dishes. Often Indian restaurants try to be fancy in Vancouver and you have to pay an arm and a leg for the food as well. Shanti's Curries takes ordinary food and makes it extraordinary, but in a casual dining environment. Everything made uses fresh ingredients and free range meats. It is all done in small batches, so you get amazing taste from the food. I met the owner, Daniela, who explained that the whole concept of the restaurant. Indian food is meant to be healthy with all the spices and fresh ingredients. Her mom, Shanti, cooked all these dishes for the owner growing up. The owner wanted bring healthy indian dishes that remind her of her mom's home cooking. In this unpretentious but still trendy restaurant, you order your food at the counter and the staff brings you the food. There is roomy seating and the space is simply decorated in a modern style. All in all, highly recommend this place. We need more restaurants like this that have this type of fresh, tasty, and heart warming home cooking.

The people inside are very warm and more friendly. The food was very good. I liked their organic and vegan approach. The vegan vege korma was fantastic.
Sonny and Danila have started an awesome curry shop. The Vegetable Korma was fantastic. I can't wait to visit Vancouver again and try the other 5 curries, have to get through the entire menu. Masala Chai is top notch too. Good people, good food, support the cause!
Excellent take away! They are extremely polite, the food is amazing, just enough spice to make you happy and drive you crazy! All is non GMO food which is perfect for the love we have for indian food. Thank you so much !!!!
It was a good location...the a service was very caring and friendly. I tried the curry chicken. It was great.
The BEST curry I've had too date! Have tried the Chicken, fish, pakora and samosa and each time I eat here I feel like I've died and gone to heaven!!! I take as many people I can to experience the best non-GMO, ORGANIC food experience! You need to visit this quaint spot in the hub of Main Street!
