The 4 Day Intensive Course is perfect for beginners who want to dive right in. Our instructor (Travis) was fun and incredibly knowledgeable, he created an encouraging and friendly learning environment and I will certainly be back to do another course. Thank you Simply Sailing!

Very professional sailing school. I was wanting to get back into sailing after some years hiatus and decided on a cruise and learn to take my CYI Intermediate training course. Christof and Gillian were courteous and professional in handling all my questions and put to rest any apprehension that I had (spending a week on board a sailboat with 3 strangers can do that to you). Our instructor was professional and friendly, the \strangers\ are all now friends, food was first rate (salads every night, top sirloin steaks on the bbq one night, etc), boat was well-appointed and roomy (40.7 Benneteau) and the 7-day trip from North Van to Port McNeill was memorable all-around (including pub nights and whale watching at Robson bight). Simply Sailing went out of their way (before, during and even after) to ensure everyone's needs were well taken care of. Everyone passed their course. Already looking forward next year to the advanced course which continues around Vancouver Island outside!
I just took the ROC-M course with Marnie. I really appreciate Simply Sailing making this course available online at this time, and for providing all of the needed support to cover and understand a fair volume of material. After completing the training I feel confident in what I've learned, and got to enjoy the experience as well. The radio simulator was incredibly helpful and Marine is a great teacher and a fun person. Thank you again!
