The website is easy to navigate, and the products have always been phenomenally fresh and delicious. We absolutely love the salmon bacon and ham-style honey smoked salmon roast. You pay a premium to have frozen seafood shipped overnight, but the items are always packaged thoroughly with great care. Simply West Coast is a new staple in our household and a welcome pandemic-times splurge to experience the best of BC.

Services exceeded my expectations! Ordered the 6 x 1KG trays of C-2 Ikura. From a taste perspective, it closely rivals that of C-1, but as per the grade, might not get the most perfect spherical shaped roe. But since receiving, we've been surprised by how near flawless they were! Each tray is comprised of 4 smaller trays that can be removed and defrosted individually to help greatly with portion control and retaining the freshness of the roe. Melissa helped with my order by answering an onslaught of questions (sorry Melissa if I was a bit too annoying!) - but given that this order was destined for the prairies, was worried about the logistics of getting this delivered without spoiling. Melissa explained to me that orders ship out on the Wednesday, and arrive within 48 hours, but more often not within 24 hours as they use FedEx overnight. Because of Reembrace day, the order wouldn't be shipped until Thursday, and with courier services not doing deliveries on weekends, it had to arrive Friday. And long and behold, it did! This, despite COVID-19! The order came professional packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, styrofoam cooler, plastic liner, and dry ice to keep the contents at a integral -70C. Once received, I defrosted 2 quarters of a tray overnight in the fridge (minimum 12 hours), and served. As I initially noted, YUMMY! Anyhow, want to thank Simply West Coast for the seamless experience. Will definitely look at getting my fill of seafood from them in the near future! Cheers!

Hands down THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER had! I have 2 little boys with multiple food allergies, but they can eat their haddock fish bites and they love them! But.... I couldn't find them anywhere near where we live for well over a month. I contacted customer service to see if they could point me to a store that might in my area and they ended up sending me multiple boxes instead! To say thank you just doesn't seem like enough! But THANK YOU Ross and Melissa! You have made 2 boys very happy!
My order (Frozen SPOT PRAWNS) just delivered to my door steps in next 24 hours. Prawns is JUMBO size and taste to be sensational fabulous. Definitely, will try again and other variety item of this store in soonest. Cheers
Love the haddock bites, as do my kids. Wish they were in more shops. Have to specifically go to Choices in Vancouver to find them, cause haven't seen them anywhere else. The salmon bacon is amazing. Impossible to get where I live, but we ordered it online and it came within a few days. Well packed and still frozen. BLT(and fried egg) sandwiches here I come.
But the salmon/ham I had to blot dry as it was quite watery when I defrosted it. Very tasty once the water was blotted out. The soups are fantastic.
