I love this nursery. Plants everywhere looking so healthy. Nothing crammed or squished together. Container arrangements beautifully done. Lots of space to walk around and get ideas. But the best is the staff - for any kind of garden or space, they help you get the right plant. And when you leave, you feel better than ever. Must be all the oxygen the happy plants are breathing out.

After a visit it seems someone always makes the comment that Southlands could charge admission, its plants, accessories and their display are so beautiful. Plus all the lovely, knowledgeable people who work there. Thanks for always being there!

Checked out Southland’s Nursery recently and liked the overall setup. It’s not huge, but they have all the basics you need. They had nice Christmas decorations up and music playing too. They have good Covid measures in place. I likely would have given them 4 stars, but the service wasn’t the friendliest.

Very festive setup with a large pumpkin display in the parking lot (came to visit before Halloween). Went in on a Saturday morning before lunch, not busy at all. Able to find parking in their lot. The staff for the most part are wearing masks and the cashier does have small plastic shield separating the cashier to the customer (see pictures). Nicely presented and displayed place with interesting and unique plants that might not be able to find at other retailers. Prices are reflective of the area the store is located. Did not get what I wanted as I was looking for garlic to plant and all that was left were some white russian garlic cloves. They had moved out a lot of their nicer garlic's due to the season. Overall, would probably return to buy things if needing ideas for plants , flowers and displays. Otherwise would probably head to other retailers for more general gardening needs

Drove out here from Langley because I heard they may carry some begonias I was looking for. I only found one but the owner Tom saw me checking out with it, struck up some conversation, then went to the back and found me more! Very friendly and knowledgeable and even showed me some of the mother plants and wrote me up little tags with the names! Will definitely be back.
