Very clean and organized. Equipment is well maintained and modern. Fitness center space is limited, but there are many options of quality equipment. Beautiful and modern gymnasium.

This is a popular gathering place for area residents. In 2008, a new community centre open at Main and E.52nd Ave. The old Sunset Memorial Centre and pool were demolished. Sunset ice rink is popular for ice skating and ice hockey.
I love this place! Only missing one star because of their limited hours (highly limited, particularly in the summer). There is always a lot going on, people of all ages playing sports, dancing, talking etc but there is plenty of space for all the different activities. The fitness centre is small-ish but fully stocked and never full so I like it more than larger but busier gyms. Staff is friendly and professional. If you use the fitness centre, please do take the posted warnings seriously about the thefts of personal belongings. Keep your items in sight or use a *very* strong lock.
Nice community centre with lots of open space, a large lobby area, a gym, fitness centre, and various programs. The fitness centre does not accept the Vancouver Park Board Flexipasses - just a heads up. The staff are nice overall, it is just a great place to hang out or participate in some programs.
