Classic BLT sandwich at the tavern at the new Oxford. I’ve been here a couple times and was pleased and satisfied with the food and service provided. Cozy seats and area to chill out and grab a bite. Thank you!

When the daily special drink is half the regular price, why wouldn’t you order a few for the table? Oh wait. Your server says someone put out the “old” menu and that drink is actually not on special, charges you the full price and tries to blame you, the customer, for misreading the menu. Funnily enough, every. single. table. had the “wrong” menu. Then the server says the manager is “busy” and can’t reverse the charges, so would one drink on the house cover it? Ummmm no. We were overcharged by 20 so... we’ll wait. One of the worst examples of customer service at this place. If you mess up, own up to it! Don’t blame the customer and have an attitude about it for the rest of the night.

Came here during the NBA finals - Raps vs. Golden State. Gm 5. A group of over 20 of us were seated near the front entrance with excellent views of the multiple screens. The server was attentive and efficient given the amount of people. Food and drink was good. There is also a pool table here.

Gave us "drinks" with no alcohol. Told staff about it and they told me off instead of helping. Terrible experience, stay away. Rude staff & service.

A rating of 3/5 by no means represents that this is just a mediocre bar. It's a great bar! It's a good solid no-nonsense bar that gives you what you need when you need a beer somewhere that's got some environment on a Thursday night. It's not a landmark but it is a good local.

Experiences here have traditionally been 4 or 5 stars, but we just visited at 6pm on a sunny Friday, and there was a single server working. Orders were slow and incorrect, and it was a generally poor experience. The next one will hopefully be better. I'll update the review then.

Great little snacks during happy hour, and a set of decent beers. Upstairs is nice. There's nothing British about this place in all; so don't let the apparent British theme put you off. It's a decent bar, not too crowded, and a pleasant place to be.
