Mr Escapades

Been a member for more then 30 years.. Of all the financial institutions I've used, this one has been the best, all and all, over time.. This location is pretty, has 3 ATM's, is handycap assessable (as is the mall). The manager has been with Vancity as long as me.. I think when you find instatutions today who have 30 year employees and clients you have found a place that is, credit-able.. (Get it?;-)

Lots of the people that work here have a superiority complex and fake friendliness. There is at least one guy who is a bit newer than the others who is nice and genuinely helpful. Hopefully he doesn't become conceited and start talking about customers loudly in the open, like the others do.

The emphasis on social and ecological sensitivity in their investments makes banking with VanCity an easy choice. The fact services are also convenient and complete makes it the best choice for me living in Vancouver. I spent 25 minutes talking with an account manager today to review my services, and the advice came without sales quota or agenda. The representative was courteous and helpful. He explained options and possibilities and provided more information, not push. Ended up saving me money on my existing banking, and my services are improved. Good Money, indeed! Thanks.

bad IT, poor customer service, weird unexplained service charges - this is the worst banking experience I've ever had. Both business and personal banking.
