Vanessa Luong

Jessica has an incredible ability to connect with children. Our daughter loves going to see her. She is very playful and respectful towards children, while at the same time she is very talented at working on speech and language goals in a very play based manner. She coached us and provided lots of strategies to use at home, and we found her suggestions very easy to use in real life. She validated and listened to all of our concerns, we definitely recommend Van Speech.

My husband and I and our 3 year old son visited Jessica at Van Speech after having had a few sessions with an SLP in the health region. We knew that we had found the right fit after a few minutes in the session with her. She is so great with kids, and is very good at targeting skills in a play based way (no worksheets here!) Our son had so much fun playing with her, and she did a great job of explaining what she was working on, and coaching us on how to use the strategies at home. We have now had a few sessions with her, and each time our son gets excited to see her. We have already noticed a huge improvement in his language and pronunciation. We are so happy that we found Vancouver Speech Therapy!
