Hi, I'm a former student at this school. In my first years hear it was very good, good teachers, good curriculum, and good environment. But in the past 2 years, it has been falling apart. Especially in the middle school area of the school, all the excellent teachers have left the school, one was fired. When they fired him, multiple kids were crying because he had helped so many students, academically and socially. There are now bad, biased teachers all around the school. They have also not been putting enough money into the school, when it comes to new technology, or even structural upgrades. There is paint chipping off the walls, even old gum stuck in the carpet. They have something called Student Government, but the school doesn't encourage the group to do anything, so they dont do anything. The staff doesn't, especially the principal, doesn't show that they care about this school. The principal doesn't care, there is no care, no one cares, about the school, the students, only there jobs. Plus, they have this no homework policy, which you and your kids might think it's a good idea, but it is not. Especially in middle school it does not prepare you for high school. In high school you have at least an hour of homework. At Vanderbilt, you have none, it's a HUGE adjustment. And I personally struggled coming from Vanderbilt, to high school. Recommendation, dont enroll in this school.
