I went here for ten days for depression, i was in the adolescent unit. Waited five hours in a small waiting room with no source of entertainment. Rules are enforced based on staff, ex: cussing isn't allowed, most of the staff don't care, but one or two will write your name down if you do. The rooms are freezing, and you have to get permission to get a blanket. They rarely monitor the kids, meaning fighting and touching go on. One kid had a seizure and it took an oddly long time for a nurse to get there. Rarely got to go outside, didn't get to shower at night, staff yell and curse all the time. All the while i was there i just colored and did puzzles, only talked to my therapist once. They put me on meds and released me, i remind you i was still very suicidal and homicidal, so it didn't help at all. I honestly think the psychiatrist got tired of dealing with me and released me before i needed to be. Over all bad, but better than most facilities.

I stayed here one week almost one year ago to this day. When I think of Vantage Point, I remember one very nice nurse and mostly being disrespected and ignored because I was in a wheelchair. It was an overall very bad experience. I rated it fair due to the fact that it made me want to live again and I realized that I wasn't so suicidal after all. I made my decision to go to Vantage Point and then I made my decision to live and let others know that this place is for people who can walk and who are not in chronic pain like me. I advise you to go there only if you can walk and you can do your own laundry and carry your own tray. You will not be helped much if you are in a wheelchair and some of the nurses mocked my condition which was uncalled for. Nurses screamed at some of the patients because apparently they get away with it there. Really bad experience overall.

Slowest place I have ever seen was referred by my doughters consulers. I was told they had all the info they would need that it take about half an HR to go over paperwork.took over 4 hours for paperwork. Worst place I have ever been around been nothing but lies since the beginning. If I coulda gave a zero I would have. To me it's just a group of lazy over educated idoits that's just after money

This place changed my life completely so thankful. Alot of people felt like it was a prison. I needed help and I got it. If you want to change how you live and how you feel this place will help. If you object to what you need and want other special treatment than what is offered, you will have a bad experience. Again if you want to change the way you live and feel this is the place and if you don want it DO NOT GO THERE.

If I could give negative star review I would. It is supposed to be able handle behavioral health problems, but when my mother (who is suffering from a type of psychosis) had a panic attack shortly after being admitted (within less than 2 hours) they discharged her. My father got a call in the dead of night to pick her up and drive over an hour away. They also are still trying to charge for the whole day, yet she never had any treatment, or room, or anything from them. So how can they even charge for a service they never even attempted to perform? Its bewildering that a place that specializes in mental health disorders couldn't even handle a single panic attack.
