We were able to spend our entire time in Varanasi / Kashi with Rajeev and could not be happier looking back on the experience. This city was the most memorable experience from our trip to India and we would have been completely lost without our trusted guide and friend. Rajeev literally went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Even though the water levels restricted others from going out the sunrise boat ride, Rajeev's connections within the city allowed us to witness a critical piece of daily prayer in Varansi. I would recommend Kashi Journeys to anybody looking to feel the spirit in Varansi. Rajeev is a true Mahadev!!!

I can’t put in words how incredible my time in Varanasi was last week, and I owe so much of that experience to Rajeev and Kashi Journeys! I was travelling in India solo, and decided to find a guide for a day while in Varanasi, which turned out to be the best decision! Rajeev is professional, passionate and so willing to share all his knowledge and expertise with you. Being from Varanasi, he knows every inch of this Holy city and based on whatever you want or need Rajeev will make it happen - customizing and providing excellence at every turn. From arranging my airport pick-up, and fabulous driver Mahendra, to an evening boat ride along the Ganga and prime seating that evening for the Ganga Aarti. Wandering the small alleys of the old town, exploring countless temples, eating fabulous local foods and drinking masala chai. That day happened to also be Shivaratri, so the city was on fire with parades and people celebrating and worshiping Lord Shiva. I ended up spending the next two days with Jajeev as well, and quite honestly could have spent more time exploring and learning about this magical place. He took me to Sarnath - the sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site where Buddha first taught the Dharma, a morning boat ride along the Ghats, shopping for whatever you like... Varanasi is a place you have to see and feel for yourself, the energy is like nothing you will find anywhere. I felt blessed to have found someone like Rajeev to guide me through my time there. You will not find a better guide for your journey in Varanasi! Enjoy!!

We visited Varanasi in May 2018 and did an early morning sunrise boat trip through Kashi Journeys. The company was very easy to deal with and book the trip through. Although you might be able to go down to the river and find your own boat, booking via Kashi Journeys meant that we had a guide (Rohit) who picked us up from our hotel (very helpful in the narrow crazy streets of Varanasi!) and explained all about Varanasi and its history to us (so interesting!!). Varanasi is a crazy, beautiful place and a sunrise boat trip is a perfect way to experience it. Our guide was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Would highly recommend Kashi Journeys and Rohit :)

We spent 3 nights 2 days in Varanasi we were met by Rajeev and his driver at the airport that evening and the next morning we were taken on a guided tour. It was a long and pleasurable day with Rajeev he has a great knowledge of the histories of Varanasi especially the religious aspects . He is dedicated to making everyone relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend him highly. I cannot forget our driver whose skill in navigating the streets and alleys of the old town north, south and central, thanks.

This August we spent two days in Varanasi and it was a unique experience. Rajeev was extremely kind and welcoming and showed us the more spiritual side of Varanasi, guiding us in the ceremonies of the Ganges River, where he helped us to understand and especially to feel the magic of this city. He was available anytime for anything we might need and allowed us to fully enjoy our experience there.
