To this end, we are creating an ecosystem which offers - Heritage Walks & Tours in cities, with able storytellers - A Mobile Application offering self- guided experiences through audio-visual-text stories to better explore the city on-the-go (the app is location-aware, and works offline) and hyper-local experiences with interesting locals - A network of local people sharing a common interest in being proud representatives of their city We started operations in Varanasi in June 2015, and have since conducted ~1,000 Heritage Walks with over 4,000 travellers from 45+ nationalities joining us. We have received the Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence for 2 consecutive years and have more than 450 reviews, mostly 5 stars. We have now started to expand to other cities, with the Delhi chapter having been launched in February 2018 and Amritsar and Kolkata chapters in the pipeline. In due time, we are looking to expand our presence to all of India. The second version of the Roobaroo Walks mobile application is ready, and we have started its testing with the travellers in Varanasi, from June 2018 onwards. The trails of our heritage walks and the content on the mobile application has been prepared by our team and is an Intellectual Property of Roobaroo Walks.
