Great staff, super friendly, makes you feel special. Food is really a treat also. Recommend this place for a romantic getaway
We celebrated our wedding at Wedevågs Herrgård - with the dinner and the party being held there. Per and Sanni were extremely accommodating to our requests, and went out of their way to ensure that we would have a great party. Our theme for the wedding was "the forest", and the chefs at Wedevågs herrgård composed an incredible menu with various flavours from the forest (for example a pine tree sorbet!), and matched it with craft beers from a local brewery (we are much more fond of beer than wine). Not to forget - I and several of my guests are vegan, and we were served food that were just as (or even more) creative and delicious than those eating meat. We got a cake that looked like birch trees, and at the end of the evening vegan/regular chorizo sausages. Most of our guests stayed over in the hotel, and everyone were amazed by the rooms! So beautiful and old-fashioned! The guests who stayed over enjoyed breakfast together with us the next morning, and the breakfast was also amazing. Vegan and regular yoghurt, bread, cheese, fruit, fresh bread. Coffee was also delicious! We are so happy we chose to have our wedding dinner and party at Wedevågs herrgård! This beautiful old building also made our wedding photos look incredible!
Absolute gem in the lakes district west of Stockholm. Beautiful old building, preserved and presented like a museum. Incredible food, wonderful hosts, and overall a lovely experience.

This was something out of a fairy tale. We arrived at almost 11pm and there was a hand written welcome message for my family outside. Inside is like you've walked back in time into the Victorian age. Big pieces of art, beautiful mid century furniture, big stone fire places. The staff doesn't seem to sleep because they were up and about making everything at all hours. We had drinks in the lobby, 4 big mid century chairs under a beautiful chandelier, while listening to music at 3am with the bartender happy and active. Then we're up for a craft breakfast of fresh fruit and breads and cheese and meats and eggs blah blah blah, with the same cook at 8 am, with another hand written welcome note. They are currently renovating parts of the building and they gave us a sneak peak. Whoever gets married or honeymoons here will not regret it
