Indu Cabs

My friend and I traveled through Tamil Nadu and Kerela with Indu cabs. We had tried to book a taxi service from Toronto prior to our travels but the companies on line offered expensive and shady options by Kms and I felt so uncomfortable with that because having an undetermined amount that they could charge me based on how far we traveled was a risky suggestion. I did not know where all the places were and how far they were from each other and I didn’t feel comfortable having any extra charge at the end depending on how much we went over. Our driver Sundar was amazing. He gave me the total cost upfront and it was hundreds of dollar cheaper than any company I had tried to get estimates from. I had a tentative itinerary of where I wanted to go and what I wanted to see in the days that I was in South India. Sundar helped organize our tour, gave us recommendations on where to stay, where to eat, what to see and little helpful suggestions that really made our trip fun and run smoothly. We were two girls travelling alone. He was safe and trustworthy. One night we went out in pudicherry and Sundar waited for us and drove us back to the hotel. I speak Hindi but I don’t speak the local language. Sundar can communicate in hindi English Tamil and Malayalam! He coordinated some back waters boating in kerela for us! Just efficient, courteous and with a wealth of knowledge about South Indian culture and religion. He would tell us stories about the places we were visiting! I appreciated his help so much that I recommended him to my cousin who travelled through kerela and Tamil Nadu with indu cabs a month after me! My cousin had not been to India for 20 years and sundar coordinated everything for him! The route, tour and hotels. My cousin really appreciated sundar being able to speak in English! Sundae was just lovely and professional! I highly recommend him!
