I was surprised to know Johor has her own velodrome now! The development news escape me. I hope its existence will spurs more bicycle sport in Johor and Malaysia. It is built for SUKMA games 2020 which already being postponed to March 2021. It cost RM51 million and being built on a 2.54 hectare plot of land. It will have a crowd capacity of 700. It is being constructed by experienced German builders Velotrack. The track is 250m long and uses Siberian pine wood. It is being constructed by the same builders who made the National Velodrome in Nilai. It has roofing with the sides are open to allow for ventilation.
