Beide clubs zijn opgericht in 1932. De fusie is afgerond op 1 januari 2017 na een proces van meer dan twee jaar. De VEZC is een zweefvliegclub met leden van allerlei ervaringsniveaus en gebaseerd op de Groote Heide in Venlo. Ons voormalig WOII militair vliegveld en onze hangaar zijn gesitueerd nabij de Duitse grens. De VEZC biedt interne opleiding aan alle niveaus vliegers en onderhoudt haar eigen vloot van meer dan tien zweefvliegtuigen. Onze jongste piloten van 14 jaar mogen onder supervisie van een instructeur al solo vliegen voor een bedrag van maar 65 euro per maand all-in. --- The Venlo Eindhoven ZweefvliegClub is a merger of the Eindhovense Aero Club KLu/Zweefvliegen and the Venlose Zweefvliegclub. Both clubs were founded in 1932. The merger was completed on the 1st of January 2017 after a process of over two years. The VEZC is a gliding club with members of all experience levels flying out of the 'Groote Heide'​ in Venlo, right at the border with Germany on a former WWII military airfield. The VEZC provides in house flight training on all levels and maintains her own fleet of 10+ sailplanes which are available to her members. Our youngest aviators are aged 14 and are allowed to fly solo under the supervision of our own qualified instructors for as little as 65 euro per month (an all inclusive price).
