tired and hungry, with an hour to kill till the next train, i found refuge in a bar in a little town by the italian border, looking for some juice for both my phone and myself. i must have had all the story written on my face, for while i went to the bathroom, the lady prepared a sandwich for me. she has a daughter who moved away and is being greately missed and i seem to have reminded her of her. lovely lady, Tina, got to talking and she found out it was my birthday. she cleverly and unseen sneaked outside and bought me flowers. the hug i gave her was the warmest and most heart felt i have had in years! they had just opened the bar and the plugs were not yet powered, but it didn't stop her from displacing the huge coffee machine in order to plug my phone. Chappeau, madame! if you ever stop by Ventimiglia, stop by Tina's place, Il Manhatan!

Manhattan cafe et un petit bar où on peut déguster à peu près tout ce que l'on veut, Café bière coca. Pour ma part j'ai pris juste pris une bière avec mes amis je ne suis pas rentré à l'intérieur j'ai bu juste sur la terrasse
Accueil chaleureux mais cuisine normale à juste prix
Très déçu...!!! Les pâtes carbonara n’ont aucune saveur, les lardons sont hachés et la crème est fade. Quant au parmesan... on est très loin du fameux REGGIANO... en un mot «immangeable » Venir en «Italie » et manger ça... GRAZIE MILLE MANHATTAN...
