The food here is great. I ate here 4 times in a week because, as well as good food at a good price, the space outside is much better than sitting against a road In Ventimiglia, the choice on the menu is great and it’s only 2 mins from my place. However, I give it 4* because the service is just a bit off. Maybe it’s because I’m not Italian or I’m missing something. But they seem annoyed when you arrive and ask for a table (especially if you haven’t booked - then there’s lots of chat and debate even though there’s about 50 free tables) and then you have to chase them to get served. Even though there are a load of young waiters just “hanging around” who all say “someone else will serve you”. You do get served eventually and the food comes pretty quick when you do. Anyway, apart from the strange service it’s a really nice place to eat.
