Stayed here for a week in the summer. The weather was cracking and the house was really nice and has great sea views from the living room and bedroom. Ventnor is a nice location with good pubs/restaurants and walking routes. 10/10 Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house in a great location! Morning sea views from both lounge and master bedroom were fab. We were so lucky with the weather in Ventnor, could walk down to the beach daily and even sat on the beach late into the evening. Had visited this house before in the winter, and since revisiting this summer, realised how much of a sun trap the garden was. The kitchen has been renovated since we last visited and looks amazing, lovely decor throughout. Highly recommend!
Wouldn't give a star if I could help it, the house may well have been nice 10 or 15 years ago but not now. The photographs should speak for themselves. Very dirty, awful damp problem and smell, from rusty frying pans to rusty radiators. More spiders living in the house than people ever have before all due to not cleaning the place. Renovation not rent should be on the owners minds. Lovely kitchen but not well looked after ie.. cleaning. Tiles coming up in bathroom and carpets looking very poor state, at nearly 2000 a week to stay there I wish I had stayed at the house next door, looked much cleaner.
Great venue for a family Christmas. The house was comfortable and well furnished and ideal for the festive celebrations
We had a lovely stay over half term - two families with grandparents. The house is a really spacious, characterful property nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. We were impressed how well equipped it is with a very smart kitchen with all mod cons. Also lovely homely touches like recipe books, DVDs and games. We really enjoyed the fabulous sea views from the living room (and top bedroom) which were stunning in good weather but it was great place to be cosy and warm on a stormy day and watch the waves. It's in a fantastic location close to the beach and the kids had a great time playing on the green in front of house. It's only steps away from the town which includes a Co-op, some lovely cafes and lots of quirky independent shops (check out the Surf shop) . We walked to the Spyglass Inn at the end of the bay which is full of character and although it was very busy, it was quick service, just what you need with hungry families! (Great chips!). Dudley house and Ventnor proved a perfect base for us and for exploring the rest of the IOW. We found the owners are really helpful with good communication and we'll definitely be back again, thanks
High up above the coastline, the view is fantastic. Inside, there's accommodation for over a dozen people. There is a patio area out the back which has a big table. The house offers full, self-service cooking and washing facilities. The house is a one minute walk from a great little town centre and a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Off street parking is a bonus. Seriously great place to stay.. Just leave a couple of weeks per year for us, okay? 2018 now and we've arrived to some kitchen (and other) renovations. Very nice. Also, the patio area out back has been improved (not that it wasn't lovely before). Yay!
Very dirty, damp everywhere, needs a proper cleaning to be used as a rental home. The owners should be embarrassed.
