We went here for our friend's birthday last night and had the most wonderful time - the food was absolutely flawless and we love that it's super-local as well! All staff was very friendly and accommodating, and made excellent recommendations - clearly, there is real passion for food and hospitality at work here. Thank you so much, we will certainly be back!

Social distancing measures were perfect. Our booking was for 6pm which meant the restaurant was quiet to start with but they soon got busy. I had the beetroot and goats cheese salad which was lovely but my husbands scotch egg blew it out of the water. I had a monkfish tail special as a main while he had the pie and chips. It was hard to pick a winner in that round. Both were excellent. We topped it off with the lemon posset brûlée and the pear crumble. I thought the lemon was a smidge too tart but that’s a taste thing! The pear was lovely. Throughout the evening the wait staff were very professional and respectful of our personal space. Would go again!

Fantastic food and great service as always. One of my favourite places to eat on the island. Just had another fantastic meal here. Staff are amazing and the vanilla and clementine cheesecake with a Christmas pudding base was one of the best things I've ever eaten!!
