Definitely worth visiting. Staff are really friendly and helpful. We have our grandma with us and she has a walker and the owner was really nice in guiding us the route we should walk. It was not a nice day on Saturday but we still enjoy it. Thank you!

A very different experience to most botanic gardens with a much more informal planting scheme that takes a little while to get used to but is well worth the effort. The relaxed nature of the planting contributes to a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the views. There is plenty of wildlife around - we saw the walled lizards and a red squirrel (at long last!) as well as numerous insects that were enjoying the late-summer flowers.
Lovely gardens with plants from around the world with an emphasis on tropical given the warm weather that the micro climate is famed for. Good cafe as well. Plenty of space to wander as well as shady footpaths.
The gardens are a lovely place to go for a walk on a sunny day. Most areas are accessible and the paths are kept clear of overhanging plants. Staff are friendly and polite but not overbearing. The free tunnel tour was one of the highlights, a nice piece of history with a stunning view at the end.
A great variety of plants, however they could do with more signage to identify them. Very nice outdoor café, although allow plenty of time for food as service is rather slow.
I've missed this place so much, they have done an amazing job! I think my favourite part is the indoor area where I found some ants (not sure it was supposed to be there) but I enjoyed it.
The gardens are beautiful with lots of little paths. The cafe was lovely - very clean, lots of seating and staff were friendly. Tickets were reasonably priced and you can return for free within 7 days if you keep your ticket. Only downside was that there are no bins so you could not dispose of any rubbish. Also, there were not many signs and it was easy to get lost when walking around the gardens. It would have been useful for some signs directing you through to different parts of the gardens.
What a wonderful, inspiring place. Travel through different lands, gazing at the beautiful plants. I sent my kids off with a map to find the play park, we had a race to see who could find it first, they loved it. Loads of wildlife to spot as you make your way around from butterflies to terrapin. The views are spectacular. I brought some plants back from the shop, to try to help beautify my garden.
