We sat at a table out the front and let the staff know. A young man took our order for drinks and then we waited and waited. After 20 minutes -how long does it take to pour 2 drinks? my partner went in to find out what had happened to our order to be greeted with an indifferent uninterested frankly rude response . We left. Perhaps businesses dont want paying customers. Shame all other establishments have ben excellent.

The Waterside has reopened, we had a lovely lunch there yesterday. The venue is clean and covid safe. We're looking forward to sitting inside once restrictions have lifted further.
Beautiful freshly-prepared tasty food. I had the chicken Caesar salad. Everything was perfect. The croutons were made from scratch and the chicken was lovely. My partner had the hummus salad and halloumi. That too was fabulous. Karina looked after us very well. Would highly recommend.
Lovely polite staff. Right opposite the beach. They are managing covid well. We have only had drinks so far but we are planning to eat there too.
Great food, best chips so far home made and fresh. Burger full of flavour and very filling. Waffles are to die for. Will definitely go again
Great food, and beautiful views! Me and my mum came here for breakfast, my mums a vegan, I'm vegetarian and they catered for both of us! Friendly staff, chilled out atmosphere and lovely views right but the sea, would highly recommend!
Brilliant little cafe. Never had to wait that long (unlike another nearby restaurant!) with beautiful sea views. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. We only stayed in Ventnor for a week but ended up going three times!
The roast dinner. My husbands beef, he just couldn't chew it. My pork was tough, and no stuffing and no apple sauce. The table next to us found a hair in the Yorkshire pudd and one in the roasted potatoe. The veg were delicious. Last time we went we had a lovely meal. I doubt whether we shall return. Sorry
