I just switched my fifth grade daughter to Veritas. The school has surpassed all of my expectations and I couldn’t be any happier with our decision. She attended another Christian school, and we were not happy with the lack of educational support and differentiation that was available there. She is very bright and a fast learner and was bored of the repetitive basic work she had to do. Her teachers were very aware of this but could not offer much to challenge and enrich her days and studies. Above all, we began to see a great gradual decline in her attitude and morals; she would come home from school and seem like a different child -- in a negative way. Her unhappiness, her bad negative attitude was not what we or she were all about at all. I met with some parents and children from Veritas and I realized that the way they interact and the way their children are acting is exactly what we strive for. They all had sweet, loving, caring attitudes, and were so focused on living a life worthy and pleasing to God. The classical level of education they were going through was way above what my daughter was studying. I could tell right away it is much higher level then what my daughter was offered, so I knew that having her attend VAT was the best fit for her and us. I am happy to say that I was right, and my daughter has not been this happy in a long time. Ever since day 1 of the school year she has not had one day with a bad attitude! We have our sweet, loving and fun daughter back now, and I know it comes from the godly attitude and sweet spirit that permeates the school and her! And I can tell how far and above what she is studying is now as opposed to before.
