Went for a dessert lunch meal. Not a restaurant policy, just felt like it. With the sparkling water I also got a side of home made crackers, with grains and parmesan, which were delicious. The waiter recommended the Souffle and it was indeed heavenly. Afterwards he recommended the Baba au Rum but I felt like it's. Going to bee too sweet to my taste, so had the Millefeuille instead and it was definitely worth it. Price wise, it's what you should expect of Ducasse, but not terribly expensive. Cappuccino was made properly, hot and stable foam. Service was good, but can't say that it's top notch.

Modern bistro inside the Chateau. By Ducasse. Of course, not cheap, but if you’re there, and can afford it, splurge. Food is excellent and during weekdays, the lunch menu is a steal. Call ahead to reserve your table if you can. The steack tartare chocolate soufflé was a great combo.

The food was delightful. The waitstaff were helpful and professional even though we didn’t have a reservation. Yes, it is a bit pricey, still worth it.

Exclusive service, fine food. They pour you sauce as part of table service. Make a reservation to ensure you get a table after a morning touring the Versailles musuem rooms.

Booked at this restaurant for my partners birthday. He was very much looking forward to this evening and sadly we left very disappointed. A birthday cake was organized and confirmed. This cake was never offered to us. One staff member was extremely condescending and rude to myself. We understand that we are Australian and our French is not perfect however this is a tourist site and I expect you are exposed to all sorts of accents and different levels of language skills. To be dismissive and rude is certainly not what is expected of an expensive meal. The meal offerings were very limited and for such limited choices I was surprised that the duck I ordered was very tough with gristle. Overall I can't recommend this place. Food is ok but the service was appalling. When such effort to have a birthday cake was made and fully confirmed to have it never delivered is a very large fail. I am sure there are other restaurants in this area that are not trading on the fact they are on the site.

The lunch was very good and because we made a lunch reservation that included tickets to Versailles we were able to skip the entrance line and go directly in without waiting.
