This was the best office I have been to besides the building being very nice the Veterans Service Officer Mr. Woodward was awesome he helped me out with every question and concern I had and took the time out of his day to address all my concerns while helping other veterans in the process. I can tell this man truly loves what he does and loves to help our veterans. I was amazed at how much he knew and knew exactly where every form was and where to direct me for my next venture, he is an asset and I look forward to visiting with him again soon.

Marc Woodward was so helpful in helping me get my important military forms that I have lost over the years. I was so happy to hear I didn't have to go all the way into the city to get it.

The wait is pretty long but the staff (I only saw one) is very professional and thorough. I went in to get my dd214 stamped, so that I can get \veteran\ on my driver's license, and he caught serious errors in my dd214 that every Army admin had missed, AND he submitted the corrections to the Dept of the Army for me. It is clear that the staff-member genuinely cared about providing me the best service he could. I don't recommend coming first thing in the morning, as there will be a line, and they take lunch from noon to 1pm. The VA is located inside the cafeteria on the 2nd floor of the DuPage Administration Building, directly across from the Veteran Assistance Commission.

The DuPage Veterans Affairs Department has to be one of the BEST VA resources in the Chicagoland area. What makes this VA office better than the others? One man, Mark Woodward. Mark Woodward is extremely knowledgeable about everything VA related. Most importantly, Mark genuinely cares about your situation. I’m an Army Veteran that has served on active duty for three years. After my ETS in 2006, I returned home to DuPage County to pursue a college degree. The first week I was back, I visited Mark’s office. My sole purpose of the visit was to inquire about the GI Bill and left with a wealth of VA knowledge. After that day, Mark has been with me every step of the way from GI bill benefits to veteran’s disability. With my high level of exposure to government run programs, I can honestly tell you that I have never met a person so professional and willing to help. Mark has assisted with: • GI Bill • Post 9/11 • IVG • Veteran’s Disability • ETS Paperwork • DD-214 Corrections • Countless Miscellaneous Benefit Questions Remember ask for Mark Woodward. He is the best in the business and he will take care of all of your VA needs.
