Attempted to set up a new patient appointment for a dog I rescued and was informed that I couldn’t get an appointment for \u003e2 months. I asked if there was any possibility to at least get his necessary vaccine booster or prescription for monthly preventatives in the meantime while waiting for appointment, and was told no. Ultimately, I ended up going with a different vet instead, and my pup was just diagnosed with a condition that requires surgery, therefore I’m very happy that I chose not to wait it out. I’ve heard absolutely excellent things about Dr. Thorne, but if you’re unable to keep up with appointments, then you shouldn’t be accepting new pets.

Dr. Thorne has taken care of my two rescue cats for almost 2 years, figuring out the best plan to get them well as both had medical issues when I adopted them.
