Old backery remade to restaurant, charming place. Food was excellent. It is little bit more epensive but it is worth it.

A must do if you are looking to eat out in town. Fab traditional menu all cooked to perfection. The suckling roast goat was epic. Cosy and friendly with impeccable service. It was a great tip off from friends and we would endorse that wholeheartedly! It's small and easy to miss but make the effort.

I first came to this restaurant age 5 and in recent years brought my own children. HOWEVER. We ordered roast lamb and got a plate of bones and had to pay 15 each for this. The waiter was unfriendly and the place was viurtually empty. This famous restaurant with all its long history will not survive unless it bucks up it's ideas. It can't survive on it's reputation alone. You are letting Viana down.

Apart from a decent bottle of local Vinho Verde we were seriously disappointed. Don't be fooled by the Michelin 2016 sticker in the window. This is definitely one to avoid.....

Basically a tourist trap at the moment. Decoration is very nice and traditional, but I felt cheated very badly. We ordered a portion of Cod, but they brought four (as well as other dishes)! An insane amount of food for which we payed a very heavy price.
