My family paid over 300 to post an obituary notice in the Victoria Advocate. When they ran the funeral arrangements reminder, they used the incorrect last name, which surely resulted in people not properly being notified of the services. Called in to see what happened and was transferred to the Obituary group and spoke with Tony. Explained the situation and was just told \sorry\. I understand that they cannot change the past, but some decency and at least a partial refund due to lack of proper services rendered would have been a show of good faith, especially for such a hefty price of 300. This was impactful for our family during a time of grieving and Tony's lack of empathy and zero interest in customer service was pretty disappointing, especially for the obituary of a subscriber for 50 years. Pretty disappointing interaction and it creates a reflection that the entire Victoria Advocate organization lacks proper customer service.
