It’s not the only Costco on the island. There’s one in Nanaimo. But that one doesn’t have a gas station. This one does. Even when there’s a big lineup out in front of the store, it doesn’t take as long as you’d think to get in. We had a cashier tell us we couldn’t make two separate purchases with one cart. But we do that every time we go there. We both have our own membership cards and purchase our own stuff separately. So that was a one-off experience. Overall the flow in the store is good. Nowadays they have someone up front directing you to a till, which is better than the free for all it used to be.

Why did I go shopping on Sunday... 5 minute line-up outside. 10 minute checkout line up. The flow through the store was generally good, some areas jam-up, but the employee are very helpful keeping the shoppers safe. It was a great shopping trip in the rain.

Covid protocol is well done .great deals and prices the shed is 400.00 less then at Low's

Not so sure about the big box experience but the parking lot here had some of the best views around. Easy parking especially far from the doors of the store. Here you can easily drive and show your non hiking friends and family the west coast mountain views

Great selection of food products, although I find their prices on the high end. The wait time for checkouts is long. I don't shop here often because its always crowded and there are always long line ups for the check outs.
