This building I'm in has been with Kone for a few years, no complaints, I just called them with a minor elevator issue, and they're dispatching someone here ASAP! Very nice!

On the plus side the on site technicians tend to be great. On the negative side getting any kind of communication is horrendous. Add to that thing like being billed several hours of travel time (yes I am in Victoria not out of town) when I was not supposed to be billed at all. Dishonest sales people. A neighbour who claims he had the same repair done by another company for less than half the cost. Every on site tech agreeing that they are the worst company around then management telling me that the techs are not supposed to talk to clients because of saying things like that and... And the list goes on. Unfortunately you get locked into a contract and they do not call to renew, it gets automatically renewed so if you don't specifically call then you are hooped for another 5 years. I have never seen a company where the average workers are so great but the management/office staff is so incredibly bad.

So far this company gets -1 for making us wait for 3 weeks to have our elevator fixed properly at 1111 Blanshard Street.
