A relatively easy & accessible hike with some great views! The trail goes through woodland and some cliff side sections. Easy little day trip from Cabot Shores

This property was once an estate of a close friend of Alexander Graham Bell per placard on trail (see pic). Beautiful vistas all along mostly wooded trail on both sides. Trail it’s self is relatively easy except for the abundant roots and rocks in the trail. Woods are cool and mostly breezy but the open areas can be hot with full sun. Well worth the short hike.

Our very first trail at the park. We were perhaps the one of the few first ones to enter the trail. The hike is a. It difficult as the terrain is quite uneven and has few ups and downs that could tire not so fit people easily. There are benches throughout just in case. Most of the trail is covered in tree canopy and some of it is out. Some of the views are amazing from the benches. Do take a good camera or a mobile with good quality camera. At the end you are faced one of the better views of the ocean. The views are good and if you go a bit further there you get a good view of the wild waves below. The rocks give you a nice resting spot and a cool summer breeze when we were there. On our way back we took the the circle ( a slightly longer way back) - not necessary as it does not give you additional views or challenges.

Such a beautiful viewpoint! Trail is rather easy for experienced hikers, a little more challenging for beginners, especially if it's really hot and humid. Bring water and bug spray

Great hike! Up hill and down hill along a gravel trail with roots acting as stairs. Gorgeous views of the ocean, birds and lobster traps. Some benches and railings along the way.

We started in the morning, it took 2 and half hours for the round trip as our 4 year old needed several breaks and want to explore things. It was a hot day but the path go thru a lot of trees and it was not bad. The view at the end of trail was stunning and you could see some wildlife as well. As I said our 4 year old conquered it so it is not a hard trail. I would definitely recommend this.
