Knowledgable staff. I am just getting into acrylic painting (beginner - intermediate). I wanted to get something better than just basics and the staff gave me advice. They didn't push the most expensive options and explained the differences. The salesperson said they do internal comparisons. One of their suggestions was using the Buzz brand paint. The white is noticeably better than the beginner brand but was not that more expensive and quite a bit cheaper than the advance level paints. They had different options at different levels and the staff knows the pros and cons. I was happy with their advice and I am happy to support a local store.

I'm not an artist - but my wife is into card making and various other crafty pursuits. I'm frequently sent to Opus, note in hand, to pick up supplies. Opus has an incredible selection, and their very helpful staff quickly pick up on my bewildered expression and offer help, which I gratefully accept. I hand over the note, the staff bustles of with it, returning in a few minutes with my listed items - and they always get it right! They do a great job monitoring customers coming and going and ensuring that mask and social distancing protocols are observed. Opa! for Opus!
Impressive choice of art supplies of all kinds, I would say especially for painting. Great for framing too. Friendly service. They were gracious and flexible on my changes of mind after I placed an order.

Fantastic store, absolutely great staff! Friendly, clean. Helpful, very knowledgeable! Alway, always, always the best place hands down. If they don't have what you need they will do everything they can to get it in.
