My experience with Tempo Trend music and its owner Martin was top notch. I have always wanted to play the accordion and recently decided to invest in myself and buy one. I contacted Martin at Tempo Trend after watching a YouTube video that featured Martin. I was very excited to find out they where located in Victoria BC as i had exhausted my local music shops in Vancouver with no success. After I sent an email to the shop Martin called me back and we had a great chat. We discussed my lack of musical background and what made me wanna get into accordion. Martin gave me some great advice and tips. He told me he would find something that would work for my budget and size as I'm over 6 foot 5. later that night he emailed me a wonderful video of an accordion that was perfect for me. Less than a week later it was delivered to my house. If you are looking for an accordion or any musical instrument I strongly recommend Tempo Trend Music. It's a family business that puts the relationship with its customers first and that's a rare thing these days. I look forward to dealing with them again. Thanks Martin - Edward Braumberger

From soup to nuts, Tempo Trend Music has it all. Martin inside is the friendliest guy and he totally set me up with a Banjo, a tuner, a case, thumb and finger picks and best of all a "how to" beginners book. Bluegrass Gospel, here we come! Thanks Martin!
Your shop is very beautiful and have qualitative items.I have seen on it internet and I want to buy something. How can I contact you. I am from india this is my email [email protected]
Some neat vibes in the place, I’m all for independent businesses. But when there’s a sale with a money exchange and deposit, you let the person know when the product they ordered comes in. 6 months later, still no call. One day I happen to walk in and oh! My item was waiting for me, as if that day it came in... it’s advertised as a music school. Maybe it should stick to what it knows best.
Friendly local music shop. Accordion specialty but other instruments too.
I've pretty much given up on these guys as they don't really seem concerned about the problems and expense they've caused me. Their luthier, Mario, wrecked a resonator instrument I have by gluing down the cone and gluing the biscuit/saddle to the point where they can't be removed. In the end, I had to ship it back to the original maker to get a new cone/biscuit/saddle built and installed as other local ships didn't want to touch it - can't say that I blame them as it's a pretty big mess. At no point did they return one of my phone calls. At no point did they offer to pay me back the 200 dollars I had paid (They DID offer me store credit when I pushed for a refund). I hounded them for months while the instrument sat on their shelf with no work being done on it and I couldn't get Mario to fix the damage he had done. My hope was that they would recognize that they had created a problem and would try to fix it. There were many promises made but little or no follow up on any of them. In the end, the instrument had been out of commission for about a year (In their possession for about 8 months) before I threw my hands up and just ate the expense of shipping and labor to get it dealt with. An awful experience borderlining on the surreal at times. I couldn't believe that they would let something get so out-of-control-awful. I really wanted to like these guys as they're my local music shop and Martin is a really nice guy but the way they treated me was just too awful.
