You might think given the accolades (below) that I am related to Wilson Diving, I can assure you I'm not. I cannot believe how wonderful an experience I had in the store. I am a long distance open ocean swimmer and swim in the Gorge daily. I bought all manner of swim gloves and socks but my hands and feet were freezing, turning white and numb from cold until I bought open cell socks and 7mm mitts from Chris and Tim. Chris even lent me his own equipment to try, who does that these days! You might pay a little more than the mega size billionaire companies but you're not going to get personalized service with a smile. You'll get a package on your doorstep and invariably have to return it. Not at Wilson's. They will bend over backwards for you and sell you precisely what you need. I highly, highly recommend this company to anyone thinking about buying diving, swimming or snorkeling paraphernalia.

On a vacation trip, I chose to obtain my open water certification through Wilson Diving. Chris and Tim were incredibly helpful instructors, more than willing to go the extra mile whether it came to planning with specific requests for scheduling, making sure I had the gear for a comfortable dive, and even things that caught my off guard like reviewing the wildlife we had seen on our trip after the dive. My first experiences into the diving world was daunting, as they would be for most people, but my confidence grew incredibly quickly under their careful instruction. The attention to detail to ensure you have mastery over the skills and constant feedback and recommendations to improve are amazing. In the 3 days, not once did I feel rushed or pressured into making a purchase. Instead, I was met with people who truly cared that the equipment were fit perfectly for my needs. Every concern I presented was dealt with quickly with careful consideration. Truly, this is a business built on being good neighbors and I can only hope all of my future diving experiences are met with people of equal passion and care. As somebody with no diving store available in my city, I hope to return often to Wilson's as my home base and supplier, because I know with the experience between the two of the instructors, it's hard to be steered wrong. If you want to start off you experience on the right foot, look no further.
