We have two children who attend. We signed the contract when they were 16 and 11. My older child likes C2 and has found it very helpful. My younger child has found it less helpful but has nothing but positive things to say about the center and the staff. Different learning styles work for different kids. Overall, we have been happy with the educational services which they provide. My low rating concerns the business end of C2. Specifically, their contract and extremely poor refund policies. Most unfortunately, my spouse did not discuss the details of the approx. 7000, 100 hour contract with me prior to signing it. I would have NEVER signed such a contract. It's one of the worst that I've seen. The problem is that the refund policy is extremely poor for unused sessions. You can only get back a fraction of what was paid for the unused sessions - if anything at all. If over 2/3 of the sessions are used the remainder are totally non-refundable. This is just appalling. Our suggestion is that if you sign a contract be certain that your child will thrive there. Don't ever purchase more than you are certain that you'll use. As noted, unused lessons carry little to no refund value. Assuming that the contracting now is similar to when we signed, there is a cash discount. We were offered interest free financing for a period of time. Paying full cash up front is clearly the best deal given the cash discount - again, assuming that this is still offered. I have always been wary of companies with very poor refund policies such as this one. Buyer beware. Be very careful before you sign. We learned this the very hard - and expensive way. Hopefully we'll spare other parents some grief.
