I've been a customer with State Farm (agent Terry Bradshaw) for many years. But recently my monthly payment went from 109.87 in November 2019 to 121.49 in December 2019, then to 148.93 in January 2020. Even though there were no changes to my driving record. The main reason I can see for this change is because when I renewed my policy I chose to not have "Uninsured Motorist" on my policy. However, because I didn't submit this in writing, State Farm enrolled me in this plan anyway. I think the practice of signing people up for services they don't want and charging them for it is very unethical, and I don't know if this is a State Farm practice or if it's only isolated with Terry Bradshaw's office. Either way, I don't like that my bill sky-rocketed simply because I'm too busy to respond to their letters. I should only be charged for what I signed up for and not for added services I failed to reject.
