This is a great ' foodie bar'. The welcome is warm, lovely staff and friendly locals, it feels like you are stepping into a friend's place for lunch , but much more interesting Try the house wine, it is so good, locally sourced and well priced. A varied menu, catering well for vegetarians and meat eaters. The croquettes are memorable, we tried the quail egg and truffle variety today with a fresh salad and a great homemade cheesecake (with a story behind it). It's so nice to find a place like this but go and see for yourself! We have only been at lunchtimes, but I can imagine that it's lively at night, with tables in the beautiful square, good music... Thank you Angel, not our first visit, and certainly not our last

Croquetas excelentes atención excelente calidad en todo. Ideal para disfrutar de la comida y del ambiente. Recomiendo a todos los que pasen por Villanueva del Fresno pasar por La Cancilleria

Los pimientos rellenos de Bacalao y los huevos de codorniz con jamón...muy buenos, aunque nos lo sirvieron fríos. El camarero muy amable pero la comida nos tardó en llegar más de 45 minutos...una pena porque estaba todo riquísimo, quizás fuera algo puntual. De ahí q no le hayamos dado un 5.

Estupendo restaurante en el centro de Villanueva del Fresno. El surtido de croquetas estaba riquísimo. Los pimientos rellenos de bacalao y gambas sabrosísimos. La cerveza muy bien tirada. De postre tomamos una tarta de queso casera (hecha por la tía del dueño) que estaba sencillamente espectacular y a muy buen precio. Si a esto sumamos la simpatía de las personas que nos atendieron, sin duda es el mejor sitio donde cenar del pueblo.
