La Norma is simply an amazing ski resort. With 65km of pistes it's not massive, but there's definitely something for everyone. I have been coming here since I was a toddler and always enjoyed myself immensely. The city center is small and cozy, with just enough restaurants to keep things interesting. There is a small supermarket in La Norma but if you want to go to a larger supermarket Modane has a Casino as well as an Intermarche and is just a short drive away. La Maison de La Norma always organizes fun activities for kids to do in the evenings, and skiing/snowboarding instructors are friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

Genuinely the most amazing resort I have been to in my 25 years of travelling around the French Alps. Bursting with character and charm, this little resort offers so much more than just a short skiing break. In fact, I brought my partner here and he loved it so much he chose it as the place to propose! I can't express how much I love this place and how special it is - I fully recommend with all my heart that you visit!

This was our first proper ski trip so we don’t have a lot of comparison to other stations. For A family of 4 and mostly first time skiers La Norma was great. It is really a family friendly place. Not a party place, I heard some complaints from others that there is not a lot of Après Ski parties and fun. It was ok for us. We’re discovering we have two kids. We didn’t really want the “stag party” vibe. People really friendly. The station is small enough that most shops we went to started knowing us by name after just once or twice being there. They call it the cost station it was really that. And costs were very good.

We tried La Norma as it was a resort we could access for the day on our ski passes. Despite the altitude, the snow conditions were poor when compared to our resort at Val Cenis. Very limited runs open. Despite weather conditions we could only access 3 runs. Avoid if skiing late in the season.

Incredible experience! Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Mind you, we were there in summer time, I would love to go back in winter!!! Ski facilities looked very nice.
