It was closed when we arrived but the lovely lady that was just seeing to her garden went out of her way to find us an alternative site. Making phone calls on our behalf and googling for us.

Lovely and small campsite on the edge of a small beach between the cliffs. The surroundings are green and beautiful. The beach is very popular amongst the Spanish in the weekends. Unexpectedly there were two nice beach bars to be found there. You will hear some music coming from there in the evening, but nothing to put you off. Toilets and showers on the site are very clean!! There is a little shop for your bread in the morning. Nice and quiet crowd. The owners only speak Spanish, but hey...we're in Spain right?! Enjoy!

One of the nicest campsites we stayed at during our 20 day camino. The location is beautiful, surrounded by green hills and with lots of apple trees around the campsite. There are several bars around and its only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The owner was welcoming and very forgiving of our limited spanish. The check in was quick and straight forward. It was a weekday, and out of season so quiet, but we were given a pitch far away from anyone else (small tent, no car) with loads of space, which is nice when campsites will normally put you right next to the other campers. The facilities were excellent for a small campsite. Toilets and showers were very clean and modern. There is a small shop with just the basic items that you might need (there is no other shop nearby). It was very reasonably priced (3.5 euro for a bottle of wine). Overrall excellent, a little bit off the trail if you are hiking camino norte, but worth coming to if you want a day at a quiet beach before Gijon.

Great campsite. Pros: the size of the plot was rather big, not so many people in the middle of August (and no party people). Bathrooms were old but clean. 2 min walk from a very nice beach. Cons: rather far away from anything, the bar/restaurant looks a bit rusty (but there's a great beach lounge by the beach).

In a very green Costa Verde bay, 300m walk from beach. Friendly reception with small shop and a bar with great family staff. Large open spaces. Good facilities. At the end, around the corner, we stayed on a large field below trees with shadow. No surf rental around.
