FitForREACH will test and implement substitution and resource efficiency measures in 6 partner companies. Moreover, 50-80 SMEs in Baltic States will implement “low effort – low costs” measures to substitute the target hazardous substances or to introduce good chemicals management practices. The project will provide online tools to assist in proper management of chemicals in SMEs as well as disseminate the information about proper implementation of REACH regulation. FitForREACH project started in 2015 and will continue till March of 2020. The project unites NGOs, regional authorities, research institutions and companies. All LIFE projects have to network with other projects that share similar goals or activities. BEF Lithuania (www.bef.lt) is coordinating the networking action within the project FITforREACH (http://fitreach.eu/).
