In our system keywords are fully replaced with visual guidance (whether that be interactive sketches or photos) - keywords are too ambiguous when it comes to product search in categories where the looks are important (e.g. shoes, bags, apparel, jewelry, home decor, furniture etc.). At the core of this product is our novel object recognition technology, that identifies and „understands” products on much deeper level compared to any other currently available models. With the help of this technology we are building the largest inventory of above mentioned product categories, where each product is meticulously indexed by shape, color, pattern and other visual properties (based on photos we can extract for that item). And no keywords are needed when running a search - one defines a visual query and products visually matching that query are returned.
